Rose Miles (a keen 11-year-old swimmer) has decided to swim the length of the channel this summer to raise money for SwimTayka. She has set up a TotalGiving page and set herself a target of £750.

I decided to swim the distance of the English Channel to raise money for SwimTayka. SwimTayka out of all other charities caught my attention because first of all, I love swimming and I swim quite a lot …. Second of all, I am very privileged to have swimming lessons. I love them and I think every child should have the right to learn a life skill and to hopefully enjoy the sport!
