South West Swim run the famous Swim Smooth Day Clinics, run by Jason Tait (Swim Smooth Certified Coach).

This clinic is set up uniquely for SwimTayka and our English Channel Assessment day.

The day will start at 8am with a meet and greet at Westonbirt school leisure centre. We will kick off introductions at 8:15 am and hope to be in the pool from 9 am.

The pool session is a long one and will cover filming of all the participant’s strokes, a technique session running through various drills and a pacing test to gauge your current speed and fitness level.

We will break from the pool around midday and head to the classroom. The afternoon will be a mix of tutorials detailing the Swim Smooth methodology, looking at elite level swimmers and how they all differ, giving each swimmer an analysis of their stroke.

During the analysis, interviews to assess your commitment to the Channel swim relay and will be taken by SwimTayka.
