Jo Smyth is a PR consultant and copywriter, who joined the SwimTayka team to help with blog writing for the website and our monthly newsletter.
Jo’s career began in journalism, where she worked her way up from trainee reporter to news editor, then became a freelance, writing for national women’s and parenting magazines. In 2000, Jo moved into PR and later set up her own business, Word Worker.
In her spare time, Jo is a keen outdoor swimmer, and is a member of two of the lakes at Cotswold Water Park. But she admits she’s very fair-weather, so in winter months, sticks to an indoor pool!
