Volunteer Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a SwimTayka programme at a dynamic international charity, enabling successful programmes around the world to coordinate our international volunteers through enrolment and ensure they meet our high standards of engagement to be suitable for our programmes. We’re looking for an approachable, friendly and professional person who has the confidence and ability to communicate with a range of audiences. You’ll have experience of supporting volunteers, and be well-organised, flexible and a good team player. The volunteer coordinator is responsible for recruiting and managing groups of volunteers, as well as individual members who wish to volunteer for SwimTayka. They must have strong communication and management skills since they must work with many different kinds of people. Educational requirements for this position is a bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a similar field may be considered for this position. Would suit someone who is used to working flexibly, on their own initiative, copes effectively with managing workloads and deadlines, remains positive, reflective and is pro-active in the face of challenges. A good communicator with strong numeracy skills and excellent organisational skills. Campaign Manager

Swim Tayka is looking for a volunteer to help steer it in the right direction for campaigning, ensuring that the charities campaigning is diverse and can involve a range of activities from lobbying decision-makers to direct action to raise issues in the media.

Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity has emerged to support the start-up of new international programmes.  This is a high profile programme supporting existing and new programmes around the world.  The Programme Manager is the key person responsible for the successful managing of the new SwimTayka programmes.
