Your beneficiaries
The people or organisations you would like to benefit from your estate.
Making a Will is one of those things many of us know we should do, but somehow never quite get around to.
Through the SwimTayka Free Will Writing Service, eligible SwimTayka supporters can have a standard basic Will prepared at no cost to them.
The service is provided in partnership with Keep Trust Planning, who will guide participants through the Will-writing process.
There is no obligation to leave a gift to SwimTayka.
We simply ask you to consider whether, after looking after the people and causes closest to you, you might like SwimTayka to be part of your legacy too.
A Will gives you the opportunity to decide what should happen to your estate after your death.
Without one, those decisions may be made according to the rules of intestacy rather than according to your own wishes.
Putting a Will in place can help you:
For many people, a straightforward basic Will is all that is required.
As part of this programme, SwimTayka will cover the cost of preparing an eligible standard basic Will.
You will not be charged by SwimTayka for the basic Will provided through the scheme. The programme is designed for people with relatively straightforward circumstances.
If your circumstances require more detailed estate planning, Keep Trust Planning will explain this before any additional work is undertaken.
The people or organisations you would like to benefit from your estate.
The person or people you would like to deal with your estate and carry out the instructions in your Will.
Clear instructions about how you would like your estate to be distributed.
If you wish, you can include a gift to SwimTayka or another charity as part of your Will.
Leaving a charitable gift is completely optional.

The initial information is used to help determine whether your circumstances appear suitable for the free basic Will scheme.
If appropriate, Keep Trust Planning will contact you directly to discuss your circumstances and explain what happens next.
Keep Trust Planning will establish whether a standard basic Will is suitable and complete the necessary checks.
If your circumstances fall within the scheme, Keep Trust Planning will work directly with you to prepare your Will.
You decide who benefits from your estate. You may choose to leave a gift to SwimTayka, but there is absolutely no requirement to do so.
Not everybody needs a simple Will. Your circumstances may require additional advice or estate planning if, for example, you have:
If this applies, Keep Trust Planning will discuss the available options directly with you.
Any additional services are not included in the SwimTayka Free Will Writing Service. Any fees for additional work must be clearly explained and agreed before you decide whether to proceed.
We want this programme to help SwimTayka supporters put their affairs in order, not pressure people into purchasing additional financial or estate-planning services.
Once you have looked after your family, friends and the people who matter most to you, you may decide that you would also like to leave something behind for a cause you care about.
A gift in your Will to SwimTayka can help future generations of children gain something many of us take for granted: the ability to be safe around water.
SwimTayka exists to prevent children from drowning. We work with local organisations and communities to give children access to swimming, water safety and drowning prevention education, particularly where poverty or circumstance means those opportunities would otherwise not exist.
A legacy gift could help:

There is no requirement to leave SwimTayka a gift in order to use the free basic Will service.
We would be enormously grateful if you considered remembering SwimTayka in your Will, but the decision is entirely yours.
Your first responsibility is to yourself and the people important to you. If, after providing for them, you decide you would also like to support SwimTayka, even a small legacy can become part of something much bigger.
We understand that writing a Will involves highly personal information.
Information relating to your Will and your personal legal or financial circumstances will be managed by Keep Trust Planning as part of their relationship with you.
SwimTayka does not need to see the contents of your Will or receive details of your personal legal or financial arrangements.
Your information will be handled confidentially and used for the purposes associated with progressing your enquiry and providing the service.
For eligible participants whose requirements can be dealt with through a standard basic Will, SwimTayka covers the cost under this scheme.
If your circumstances require additional or more complex services, these fall outside the free basic Will offer. Keep Trust Planning will explain any additional options and costs before you decide whether to proceed.

No. SwimTayka does not need access to the contents of your Will or your detailed financial and legal information.
Your initial information will be reviewed and, if appropriate, Keep Trust Planning will contact you to discuss your circumstances and the next stage.
No. Completing the enquiry form simply registers your interest. Your Will is only created later as part of the Will-writing process.
It may still be worth considering whether your existing Will reflects your current circumstances and wishes. You can submit an enquiry and discuss your position with Keep Trust Planning.
Yes. Completing the initial enquiry form does not commit you to making a Will, purchasing another service or leaving a gift to SwimTayka.
Complete the short initial enquiry form below to register your interest in the SwimTayka Free Will Writing Service.
Submitting the form does not create a Will and does not commit you to purchasing anything or leaving a gift to SwimTayka.
This form is for people who would like to request a standard basic Will through the SwimTayka scheme.
It gathers the initial information needed to assess suitability and begin the process.
If your circumstances are more complex, additional services may be discussed separately with Keep Trust Planning.
Submitting this form does not create a Will.
Writing a Will is easy to postpone.
This service gives you an opportunity to put your wishes in writing and make things clearer for the people you care about.
And, if you choose, you can leave something behind that could help another child grow up safer around water.
Look after the people you love first.
If there is room for SwimTayka, your gift could give another child a skill that lasts a lifetime.
