How you can make a difference

 

SwimTayka works with established NGOs & charities, throughout the world. There are just a few simple steps before you can be working with them & begin to make a difference too.
1. Pick a Country
Immerse yourself into a new culture as we have projects in many countries

Which one?  Why not choose a few!



2. Find a Role
Select the area you would like to volunteer in. We have many opportunities from two weeks to six months depending on your availability. Here are some of the roles we are currently recruiting for:

  • Swimming Teacher
  • Environmental Education teacher
  • Teach the teachers
  • Social Media
  • Team Leader
  • Project Manager

Once you have made your selections we will be able to provide you with more details for that project including fundraising targets.

4. Fundraising

There’s no getting away from the fact that fundraising is the key to helping more children. Whatever project you decide upon you will need to pledge to raise a minimum amount, anything from £1,000 to £3,300 depending on the location and project. Many volunteers find they exceed the initial target so don’t be put off by the thought of having to fundraise as we can help you with ideas.




5. Take Part

This is the best bit! We are sure you will love every moment you are volunteering. The difference you will make will be a legacy you will leave behind. The memories you take home will be cherished forever.

 



6. Make A Difference – Save Lives!

This is the most rewarding bit. You will have made a massive impact on the children’s lives you have touched and they will remember you too. You will leave behind a new love for swimming and to look after the water where they live.
